Serenity Therapeutic Equine Program and Riding On Angels Wings will be collaborating with Operation: Military Kids to provide a summer camp for children and their parents, August 2012.

Thanks to a mild winter and continued fair weather, Serenity Therapeutic Equine Program will be holding an Open House May 16th, 2012 from 5pm until 8pm.  This event will introduce people to the program and will be a celebration of all our blessings.

    Serenity Therapeutic Equine Program was established to provide a safe, calm, and healthy environment for children, adults, and families to engage in a collaborative process with horses as part of a healing process, both physically and emotionally. 

    The philosophy of care that is the foundation of the STEP program is one of service to others.  Our horse partners provide a service to participants, whether it is in their physical movement that helps us to develop and strengthen our own bodies, or if it is in their interactions with people, helping us to gain insight into our own struggles and accomplishments. 

 

    We strongly believe that these services can be a STEP in the right direction to the healing process, and we hope that we can be of service to others in taking that first step.
