STEP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that uses horses to help with team-building within groups and businesses and individual social-emotional issues and speech and language, occupational, and physical therapies through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies(EAAT).
STEP’s center and instructor are credentialed through Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.) It is 1 of 6 PATH Intl. centers in ND.
STEP is located 3 miles south of Minot, ND and has been serving the surrounding area since 2011
Equine Assisted Learning: business or organizational groups learn leadership, team-building, communication skills, and other growth skills while completing tasks with the horses.•Equine Facilitated Mental Health: working with a licensed mental health provider, their clients, and the horses to learn human growth skills with individuals and families.•Therapeutic Riding: learning adaptive riding skills to complete tasks, follow directions, and to build self-confidence.•Hippotherapy: working with a licensed Physical Therapist and their clients while riding horse as part of their therapy goals
